LinkedIn for Singapore leaders
LinkedIn ghostwriter for Singapore founders and APAC executives
Singapore leaders often run Asia-Pacific from one city, so their LinkedIn has to speak to Jakarta, Sydney, Mumbai and New York at once. We write that kind of feed, from India, 2.5 hours behind you.

The short answer
A LinkedIn ghostwriter for Singapore executives turns regional operating experience into 3 to 5 posts a week, written in your voice from a monthly interview. Finance leaders must keep posts on the education side of MAS rules on financial advice. Postlit works remotely from India, 2.5 hours behind Singapore, and scopes each engagement on a call.
Why LinkedIn matters so much in Singapore
Singapore is small but almost entirely online professionally. NapoleonCat counted about 5.52 million LinkedIn users in Singapore in September 2026, around 82.5% of the population, with 45.3% aged 25 to 34. For a city that hosts so many regional headquarters, that density means your LinkedIn is read by peers at other regional HQs, the investors who fund the region, and the talent you are competing for.
The other thing that makes Singapore distinct is scope. A Singapore-based leader is rarely writing for Singapore alone. The Head of APAC for a SaaS company is selling into Australia, Japan, India and Southeast Asia from a CBD office. A founder at a Block71 startup is often raising from Singapore funds while building a team in Vietnam or Bangalore. Posts need to make sense across all of those readers.
Who we write for in Singapore
| Leader | Primary goal | What the posts need |
|---|---|---|
| Regional MD or Head of APAC at a multinational | Visibility with HQ, regional clients and hires | Cross-market lessons that do not breach employer policy |
| Fintech, payments or wealth-tech founder | Partners, licences, investor trust | Regulatory journey without promotional claims |
| VC or family-office principal | Deal flow and LP confidence | Clear theses, honest market reads |
| B2B SaaS founder expanding into Southeast Asia | Pipeline across several countries | Country-by-country go-to-market detail |
| Indian founder who has moved HQ to Singapore | Credibility in both markets | Why Singapore, what changed, what did not |

MAS and other rules we write around
Financial advice. In a parliamentary reply reported by Singapore Law Watch, MAS explained that a person is treated as giving financial advice if they are paid to recommend or opine on buying, selling or holding investment products, or if they do so regularly even without payment. General educational content is not advice. MAS's later 2025 parliamentary reply kept the same framework. For a fund manager or wealth-tech founder, that means LinkedIn posts should explain how markets, products and risk work, not tell readers what to buy. We write to that line and flag anything close to it.
Employer and listed-company rules. Many Singapore executives work for listed or regulated groups with strict social media policies. We build your content plan around what your communications team allows and keep material, non-public information out entirely.
Healthcare. Doctors and clinics in Singapore face tight advertising rules and professional-conduct expectations that discourage testimonials and superlatives. If you are a clinician, read our doctors page before you post.
Singapore LinkedIn tone
- Polished, but not stiff. Singapore readers expect competence and precision. Overly casual or meme-heavy posts can read as unserious.
- Modesty about yourself, generosity about others. Crediting your team, a mentor or a partner lands well. Chest-beating does not.
- Regional specifics. "We hired our first country manager in Jakarta and got it wrong" beats "Southeast Asia is a big opportunity" every time.
- Mostly English. Singapore's business LinkedIn runs in English. We keep it idiom-light so that readers in Tokyo or Ho Chi Minh City follow it easily.
A hook we might draft for a hypothetical Singapore payments founder: "We launched in four ASEAN markets in 18 months. Indonesia took longer than the other three combined, and it was not the regulator's fault."
Time zones and the async process
Singapore is 2 hours 30 minutes ahead of India, with no daylight saving on either side, so the overlap never moves. A 10am Singapore interview is 7:30am for us; most Singapore clients prefer late morning or early afternoon their time, which sits squarely in our working day. Drafts arrive as a weekly batch before Monday morning, you approve in about 20 minutes, and we comment on your buyers' and peers' posts across the Singapore business day. For leaders whose audience is partly in Europe or the US, we also schedule some posts for those time zones.
Postlit has no Singapore office. Every engagement is remote.
Budgets in Singapore dollars
We do not publish our own prices. A Singapore agency blog published in April 2026 puts executive LinkedIn ghostwriting at roughly SGD 2,500 to 7,500 a month per executive for 4 to 12 posts, and multi-executive programmes at SGD 8,000 to 20,000 a month. That sits in line with global market data in our ghostwriting cost guide, which uses US-dollar bands of $2,000 to $5,000 for mid-market agencies.
A sample month for a Singapore Head of APAC
For a hypothetical regional MD of a cybersecurity company based in Marina Bay:
| Week | Post | Why it works in Singapore |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | "Same product, same price, six countries. Our sales cycle ranged from 5 weeks to 9 months. Here is why." | Regional comparison only a Singapore HQ can make |
| 2 | Carousel: what Japanese, Indonesian and Australian security teams ask in their first meeting | Practical, saved by sellers across APAC |
| 3 | The story of a junior engineer in our Singapore team who caught a client incident first | Credits others, builds employer brand |
| 4 | A measured view on a new regional cyber regulation and what boards should ask | Authority without alarmism |
How Postlit works with Singapore leaders
- Send a short form by WhatsApp or email. A founder replies with a written free LinkedIn teardown, the three changes we would make first, usually within a few hours IST. A 30-minute call follows only if it is a fit.
- Voice interview, profile rewrite and 90-day plan tied to one goal: regional pipeline, hiring, fundraising or LP confidence.
- We write, you approve. Three to five posts a week. Finance posts are flagged for compliance review where needed.
- We engage and report. Daily comments on the posts of regional buyers and peers, warm DMs flagged, a monthly report.
Engagements are scoped on a call. See our LinkedIn ghostwriting service for the full scope.

Frequently asked questions
Can a Singapore fund manager post about markets on LinkedIn without a licence issue?
Generally yes, if the posts are educational. MAS has said general educational content is not financial advice, while being paid to recommend investment products, or doing so regularly, can be. Posts that explain how markets or risks work are usually safe; posts telling readers what to buy should go through your compliance team.
How much does a LinkedIn ghostwriter cost in Singapore?
One Singapore agency's 2026 estimate puts executive ghostwriting at roughly SGD 2,500 to 7,500 a month per executive for 4 to 12 posts, and multi-executive programmes at SGD 8,000 to 20,000 a month. Global data puts mid-market agencies at about $2,000 to $5,000 a month. Scope and seniority drive most of the difference.
What time should Singapore executives post on LinkedIn?
For a Singapore audience, weekday mornings between about 8am and 10am and the lunch hour tend to work well. If your buyers are spread across APAC, Europe or the US, rotate some posts into their mornings. Topic consistency and saves now matter more for reach than any single time slot.
Should a Head of APAC write for Singapore or for the whole region?
For the whole region, anchored in what you see from Singapore. Readers value cross-market comparisons that only a regional leader can make, such as why the same product sells differently in Japan and Indonesia. Keep employer policy in mind and avoid anything that reads like official company guidance.
Is it awkward that Postlit is based in India rather than Singapore?
In practice it is convenient. Singapore is 2.5 hours ahead of India year-round, so interviews and approvals fall in shared working hours. Postlit has no Singapore office and works remotely with every client through a monthly voice interview and weekly approvals.
